Top Key West Producer Rudy Molinet Named 2010 "Realtor of the Year"

The Key West Association of Realtors recently selected Rudy Molinet as Realtor of The Year for 2010.

This honor is bestowed by the association upon the Realtor who exhibits high ethical standards as articulated in the National Association of Realtors Code of Ethics and who serves as a role model for his or her peers in the Key West Real Estate community.
Molinet serves on a variety of civic organizations, charities, quasi-government boards and committees. Molinet is currently President of The Rotary Club of Key West, chairperson of the Key West Historical Architectural Review Commission, and is a past board member of The Key West Association of Realtors.
Molinet has helped raise significant funds for Wesley House, AIDS Help, The Rotary Club of Key West Scholarship Program, The Rotary July 4th Fireworks, The Rotary Children's Dental Program and Metropolitan Community Church. Molinet also writes a column entitled "Rainbow Reflections" for the Key West Citizen. The column focuses on Gay and Lesbian human rights issues.
"I am honored to receive this accolade. I love taking an active role in the community and service is part of how I give back to our community. Key West has been very good to my partner and me and we think it is important to be involved and to make a difference in the lives of others. " says Molinet.
The award criteria does not include a Realtor's sales volume, but the Rudy Molinet team is also currently the top Realtor in sales for 2010 among the nearly 400 Realtors in Key West.
"So far this year, our team has placed over $25.5 Million in transaction sides of Key West Real Estate under contract," said Molinet."We owe a big Thank You to our clients and customers for this success. My spouse and business partner Harry Hoehn is also a big part of our success as we strive to provide superior customer care to our buyers and sellers."
Molinet was also a top producing Realtor® in Old Town Key West Real Estate for 2006-2009, ranks Number 1 year to date for 2010 and sold more properties in Old Town Key West in 2009 than any other broker.
Molinet made the news earlier this year when he launched an iphone app to allow mobile buyers to view all the active listing on his website or search the entire Multiple Listing Service of the Florida Keys.
"The innovative mobile app has been very successful," Molinet said, "we have received several leads from the app and also compliments from several buyers who thought it was very innovative and a very user-friendly way to search the Key West Real Estate market and the Key West MLS."
